This luxury bed and breakfast is set in an historic farmhouse on the edge of De Eese nature area. Its spacious suites and apartments have a private, furnished terrace and garden.
Apartments and suites at De Nijenshof feature a modern country-style décor. Each has a separate living room with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. All bedrooms have box-spring beds.
Breakfast, including freshly squeezed orange juice and eggs from De Nijenshof’s chickens, is served daily. Breakfast can also be served in the privacy of the guests’ room. On Mondays and Fridays a fixed dinner menu can be arranged upon request. On other days guests can enjoy a Quiche Menu upon prior notification.
Bike rentals are available, and guests can cycle through Nijensleek’s rural surroundings. After a day out, guests can enjoy a drink in the lobby, which also has a fireplace. Spa facilities are also available for an extra charge.
The Drents Friese Wold is within a 10-minute car journey of Erfgoedlogies De Nijenshof and the Weerribben-Wieden National Park is 20 km away. Giethoorn and Dwingeloo are 20 minutes away by car.
